Isabelle was born in Northern New Brunswick, and brought her Eastern charm to Ontario to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. Fuelled by a thirst for life, she never stops learning. She has completed a wide range of postgraduate courses including her Level 3 Manual Therapy with Orthopedic Division of the CPA, Gunn IMS certified, acupuncture, running injury prevention, vestibular rehab, concussion treatment management and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA).
Through education and practice, she has gained a solid expertise in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine and prevention of overuse injuries. She has been part of the University of Ottawa Health Services team since 2003, where she spent over a decade working with the Gee-Gees. Her main passion is sports, and she continues to serve varsity athletes through her practice.
Her motto: success in recovery goes beyond the physical realm. She takes time to explore other influencing factors with clients as part of their complete pain management strategy. She strives to keep individuals of all ages active by using a comprehensive treatment approach that combines hands-on interventions and functional movements.
For Isabelle, life is all about staying active. When she is not working, she can be found playing sports, hiking, running or cycling.
